About Anil Dubey

Anil Kumar Dubey is a senior TV journalist. Currently he is working with ABP NEWS. Earlier He was with  DDNews, a 24/7 bilingual News channel. He has produced a show named Jaanane ka haq based on Right toInformation Act 2005. He has produced several documentary films for DDnews. Anil Kumar Dubey is a post graduate in political science from Banaras Hindu University. A post graduate diploma course from IIMC (Indian Institute of mass communication, New Delhi) has honed his journalistic skill. In the last 10 years he has visited across country to shoot several documentaries for DDNews. From North to south and west to east he has travelled a lot. He has covered the apathy of tsunami victims as well as shot the intense force of seculasim in Varanasi during bomb explosion in Sankat Mochan temple. He has made a documentary on Banaras with the interview of great shahnai player late Bismillah khan. He has covered the grief of the people of Bundelkhand and a ray of hope of the same people after NREGA came into their life.From the dense forest of Odisha to plains of Ganges and Yamuna he has shot the process of empowerment of common people through RTI. He has also covered the empowerment of tribals in MENDH LEKHA in Gadhchiroli through right to forest act as well as has shot the struggle of tribles in Raigadh,Chhattisgarh for their lands. These are some glimpses of the ten year career of Anil Kumar Dubey. He has also got several fellowships from reputed organizations. CSE ( Centre for science and Environment) has given him fellowship for making a film on the implementation of NREGA(now MGREGA) in Bundelkhand area. MAMTA a NGO working in the field of mother and child health care has given him the fellowship for making a film on the efforts of communities in persuading parents for the marriage of their children after 18 and 21. He has got National RTI fellowship from Department of personnel and training, Govt of India for making a film on implementation of RTI. He has made a film named EK NAI SUBAH in the collaboration with CHRI(Commonwealth Human Right Initiative) He also has got National RTI award for his work in the field of RTI.
